The Long Hall Podcast is delighted to announce that our website will feature weekly reports on the New York Shamrocks soccer club for the 2021/2022 season.
The Queens-based soccer club has a rich history and was formed by Irish immigrants in 1960.
It is the latest in a continued effort by The Long Hall Podcast to promote Irish American sports organizations in New York City. We produced several podcasts regarding New York GAA since we launched in March 2020 and expanded our coverage to include match reports in football, hurling, ladies football and camogie this year.
We have also highlighted Irish sports stars in America competing in golf, soccer and boxing with further expansion plans in the pipeline.
