Michael Dorgan headed to Gaelic Park Tuesday to preview New York’s upcoming Tailteann Cup clash versus Offaly.
He spoke to New York GAA Manager Johnny McGeeney, captain Jamie Boyle, joint vice-captains Johnny Glynn and Mick Cunnighmam as well as New York Chair Joan Henchy.
Having run Sligo close in the Connacht Championship in April, New York will be looking for a famous first win at senior championship level.
It’s the first time New York will play a team outside of Connacht and the first time they have played two championship games in the same season.
The game throws in at 9 a.m. EST / 2 p.m. Irish time and it will be broadcast live on GAA GO.
